– There is no secret that the ambitipous norwegian wants to keep the best players of his big squad, but that can be dificult due to their wish to play Premier League football og in a bigger league than the Championship.
However, the 44-year-old is realistic and accepts there could be some major departures between now and the end of the transfer window.
«Maybe players will be coming in and maybe players will be leaving us but the aim for Wolves is to be stronger when the transfer window is over», says Solbakken to Sky Sports.
– Wanderers will begin this season among the favourites for promotion and there is an expectation among the fans that they can – and should – bounce right back to the Premier League.
Wolves fans all over the world wants nothing but the best for their beloved club, and that is of cause to see Wolves beating the best clubs in the Premier League.
Is Solbakken the manager to bring back glory times to the magnificent stadium of Molineux is still to be seen. The hope and passion has never been stronger among the fans. Who is the the most vocal in the country.
That is what the new boss will hear when the new season starts in august. Leeds United is the first hurdle for Ståle at the new fantastic Molineux Stadium.
